We have a very active Green Schools Committee in the school who are dedicated to promoting whole school action to preserve our environment. In 2022 we achieved our Water flag and for our next phase we are working towards our travel flag.

Achievements for our water flag were:
- All water fountains in the school are fully operational, providing students with the facility to easily fill their own reusable bottles. We would kindly ask all students to bring in their own reusable bottles to help us reduce our plastic waste.
- The introduction of Global water to the school canteen, cartons are 88% plant based and 100% recyclable
- Weekly litter picks
- Promoting awareness of recycling and water conservation within the school
- Our Rainwater Harvester has been repaired and water is used to flush toilets
- Controlled water flow management on taps
- Whole school events to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation
