The new Junior Cycle Programme features newly developed subjects and short courses, a focus on key skills, and new approaches to assessment and reporting. In Pipers Hill College, our philosophy is that students should study a broad range of subjects. In keeping with that philosophy we offer an extensive range of Junior Cycle subject choices.

The new Junior Cycle subjects incorporate continuous assessment. Students will have a classroom based assessment in 2nd & 3rd year with a assessment task in 3rd year that makes up 10% of the overall Junior Cycle mark. Students will also receive a Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement that will outline their achievements both inside and outside the classroom over the three years.
